I am a grandfather of 4 and my 2 year old grandson just loves this item. We got it for him for his birthday and he has not stopped playing with it. He could race the cars for hours and hours. This toy is worth it.

5 out of 5 stars One word of warning...   January 28, 2002

I got this for my 3yo son for the holidays. He asked for it specifically. My one word of advise would be to remove the batteries so that the toy is silent. Otherwise it makes the MOST annoying 'revving' sounds constantly. It drove me completely nuts just having it in the cart at the store. It's perfect once it has been silenced!

5 out of 5 stars We love this toy!   November 7, 2004

My son received this toy for his birthday when the cars were green and red. We found that one side of the track tended to be faster than the other. We haven't had any problems with the sound-I think it's cool and so do my boys. Hey when you have a couple of boys there is a lot of noise-this toy is nothing compared to their noise level! I liked that the toy came preassembled-no small parts. Other cars run great on it-especially hot wheels. My 1 1/2 year old loves to send the hot wheels cars down the spiral track. He can play for 15-20 minutes at a time with this toy which is a lot at his age! And his six year old brother likes it too!

5 out of 5 stars From the mother of a car lover!   June 14, 2002

We just recieved this yesterday and both my kids love it. My son 3 has played with this more than any other new car toy. My daughter 19 months is having fun with it also. I recommend this toy for any car lover. It fits almost any Matchbox & Hot Wheels cars also.

I almost didn't buy this for my son because at first look it seemed that it had no educational value, and didn't really do anything. I was sooooo wrong! After my son received a toy with a roller coaster and I saw how much he enjoyed just pushing the car down the roller coaster, I ran back to the store and picked it up. It wasn't very expensive so I thought it would be worth a shot. From the time I brought it home he has loved it. At first it was just the fun of watching the two cars it comes with go down--and he got a kick out of the "racing" noise it makes, but then he started to use it with all his toy cars and he picks out the different color cars and races them and counts them as they go. His biggest thrill is letting them all pile up at the bottom into a big heap, then separating them and starting all over. For him its pure enjoyment, for me it was a valuable lesson--sometimes you just have to give kids stuff just for the fun of it!
