This toy is great entertainment for the little ones. I liked it better than the Pirate Parrot and so did the kids. Even the adults enjoy it!!!

Got this for my 4 year old son, even if its switched off he still acts like it is on. Ours didn't work right out of the box but it turned out one of the batteries I put in was bad. I kept messing with it and I saw some acid coming out of the battery and after that it worked like a charm.
Ours has one 9V battery and 2 AA batteries, I think voltage is pretty important. The voice part worked fine even with a bad battery but the wings and beak wouldn't move.
I would say if yours doesn't work right, swap the batteries out and try again.
Really fun toy for not so much money.

This toy is wicked cool! It is really entertaining... especially when there are times of boredom. Although it sometimes has little glitches, it is almost always the best way to put a smile on your face! I would buy one for all of my friends to keep us laughing, and mimicking...!

There was a small problem with the parrot and it had to be sent back but the Customer Service Rep, Brian, made everything so easy! It was a pleasure doing business with this company.

I recently bought this product for my 6 months old son. I must tell you that everyone in the family is having great fun talking to Pete. We are from India and it fun to hear Hindi from Pete... Now buying one for my friend... Thumps Up for this product.
