Our 2.5+ year old twins just got this a few days ago, but already have spent a couple of hours playing with it. They've been very creative about making vehicles and haven't fought over pieces yet, which is really saying something. They love picking out the different parts of the cars, naming them, and putting them together to make a new vehicle. The magnets make it very easy to put together by themselves, so they can play without our help.

This is a nice toy for 2-3 year-old. My son enjoyed putting together "model" cars/trucks, and also came up with creative inventions of his own. The product stimulates creativity and interaction between parents and small children. The parts are very sturdy and brightly colored.

We received our first Magna Tiles from a friend. They have proved to be one of our favorite toys for all ages. Everyone uses them to create something new. My kids (11, 8 and 4) worked together to earn these and they have been another great Magna Tile toy. Some of the parts are smaller than the original Magna Tiles, so if you have kids who still put things in their mouths you may want to use the regular Magna Tiles until they are a bit older.

My 3-year-old twin sons received two of these sets for the holidays this year. They've never gone wild for other building toys, but I thought they might like these because they're crazy for trucks. Sure enough, they go nuts for these. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they're bigger/chunkier than I had thought -- they fit nicely into toddler/preschooler hands. I agree that some of the parts (like the sirens) could be a choking hazard for younger kids who still put things in their mouths.
Great, sturdy, creative building toy.
