My three year old has this Handy Manny toy and several other similiar ones. He will drag them all out at once, take them apart, and then reasemble them. I like that the screws do not actually come out of the part being removed so they can't be lost. The toy does talk but it's not at a bad volume level. The toy teaches problem solving, builds confidence, and is just plain fun for little ones to play with. My little guy is tough on toys and this one has stood up to his knocking it around. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun gift for a preschooler. I know it's marketed to boys but I think girls would enjoy this one too. Great toy!

My 2 boys always try to take my screwdriver when I'm changing batteries in toys or working around the house. I thought this toy would be something they would enjoy and I was right! I just want to say "thanks" to whoever is responsible for designing this toy....you're a genius. I can't say one negative thing about it. As soon as my 4.5 year old fixed the first repair on it....he got so confident and excited, and my almost 2 year old uses the screwdriver to take it apart too which is so cute. It promotes self confidence and self esteem, and my kids play with it for at least 30 minutes at a time.

My youngest son received this toy for his 3 year b-day. He loves the pretend phone and understood quickly how to unscrew the different parts of the tv and put them back together. The screws are easy to turn and they stay attached to the item you are unscrewing, so there is no worry in losing a screw. He also received the handy manny radio that is a fix it toy, and he loves that as well.

This is a cute toy which peaked the interest of both my three and one and a half year old. I too was compelled to unscrew all of the bolts and see what this toy was all about. Very nice.

My grandson wanted this for Christmas and was so excited when he opened it up. He started to "put it together" and refused any help from us! He had a great time putting it together and talking to Manny when he was done. It certainly made his day!
